Ok, I know her mouth is off, but I'm not really sure if I can fix it... It looked fine in the sketch, but doggone it didn't come out right when I inked it.

Anywho, this was an experiment with alcohol. No, I didn't drink any; it was used on the cloth. My colorless blender has run out, and I decided to try some different substances to see how they reacted with the markers. I actually used it on a bookmark I was drawing first and it came out pretty cool there as well. (I'm going to try to upload those as well, but we'll see what happens.)

The character is one of my OCs from a story I've been working on for a few years now. (In other words, please don't steal her design.) I had fun drawing the picture, but I'm not completely satisfied with it. I'm also curious to know what y'all think of the border I put around her. I haven't fully decided whether I'll keep it or not... *sigh* I do like how the shading on the cloth turned out, however. Took me a while, that thing. Amazed my markers haven't all run out on me again... lol. (Two did while working on this, mind. Another died shortly thereafter. lol.)

Do let me know what y'all think!

Sorry it took me awhile to get to commenting on this one windyroller... been a little hectic lately. Wow, love the blending of the colors... and they're so vibrant! Definitely a nice contrast against the black background. The splotches seem similar to when you put salt on watercolors... very cool looking. :D
