wow! i just love the vector!
its really clean + the outlines are just great!
also the coloring is not sharp which i more like it!
as for the background i guess those stoney mountains or whatever you call it
needs some work like adding textures or try making use of stock photos, for the sunset look
it also need some work like making the sun a bit lighter or trying to putting some gradients.
but overall love the scan used + your vectoring!
i'm sure you can do much better in your background next time!

What do you mean by terrible! You're srsly being pesstimistic about this. I mean this is incredible! I couldn't believe it, but when I saw this full version of it at AP it just made me speechless. =o I mean the outlines were so smooth, and not so hard because it wasn't black which lead attention off of making the outlines stand out too much. Though the details and the colors was a really good combination. Doing this all with a PS only really just gives this more of a reason why to full-view it because Illustrator can make outlines nowadays make a vectorist lazy (such as me ).

Ah! You posted it! Wonderful job in the end. I like the added fog to tone down brightness of sun and etc. The rocky structure looks a little out of place but it's not bad. I think the flaw, if available can be how the cloud fades at the sun since the sun is the light source of it, so more fine lines there, but I don't notice anything in it

What a wonderful wall! I love the concept you have for the background. A rising morning sun, appearing above the clouds in a far away mystical world.Where is this brave young knight on the dragon to go? When I see your wall these are the words that pop into my mind.

Though it is not perfect in you eyes, in mine, your wallpaper is beautiful.
