my first wall of 2008 and probably the last one :sweat:
i was doing this since last year, but never got time to finish it till now
i know it looks messy, but thats the way i like it
it supossed that Yuuko-san is kinda goddess of a Nebular Lagoon ^_^'
the plants are like colonies of lil creatures living there (kinda weird planets ne)
flowers are like passive supernovas (dont mind it, its stupid)
those weird eels are like the Nebula guardians (theyre pets in other words)
first time i do a watery wall, the difficult part were those mountains on the leafs
and first and last time (i hope) i do a widescreen wall
scan i used was one of aethereality
outlines: illustrator cs2
color: photoshop cs2
nevermind the # of layers...

i like how your wall seems calm due to the water and yet the stars and nebulae add to the out of this world kind of feel XDcomposition:
the lily pads with the mountains are arranged nicely and so have the flowers :) the arrangement of the mountains have been done well although the bottom parts of some of the lilly islands, the brownish bottom parts some of them i noticed are really fadey however the one in the top left i noticed is so fadey that one can hardly see the details in the part thats faded ^_^' maybe that one could be a tad darker but thats just my opinion ^_^'colour:
the colour choice is nice, stands out and catches ones attention :D i like how it seems pastel-ish in one part yet striking in another XDquality:
the vector is neat and clean, the details are done wonderfully :)overall:
the idea behind this wall is really neat and everything flows nicely :D i like how you added the snake [is that what it is?] in the water and how it seems to flow in the water XD the slight textured look adds a nice touch :Dextra stuff:

anyway... what i feel is a pleasant desire of travel through space! your colors here are an strike on my brain, direct hit that remain in my retina. the shapes are nicely done and only lack some harmony in your lines. im not saying anything bad here; i mean, some lines stand out over the background a little bit.

El color que le has dado..con esa textura...es justo el que más le va, no me lo imagino mejor de otra manera

Hmm, I have to admit, it DOES look slightly messy- but that's the main attraction of this vector, and makes it stand out. The water effects was the one that I adored most- it's awesome! :D

this vector is just too great! -
I can see you put a lot of effort into making this.... but... who can really ever use this on their desk? While the idea is nice, the vector is done without much attention to the strokes of the lines and it is apparent that all the lines were done with the "stroke path" technique. The color scheme also hurts the eyes a bit. I think that your wall is interesting to look at as an image but as a desktop, it doesn't really work.
