Erratum: The Original Title should have read as "Denial by Ignorance, Contradiction by Reality", not "Denial by Arrogance, Contrdiction by Reality.". Sorry `bout that, I'm kinda struck with flu. T.T

Now that makes me feel something... especially since I'm known to always say I'll "Rap for Food"...

Mad props to you and your nice detail and shading work bro. Some things are off, but not that much.

Faith and Hope... reminds me of Guilty Gear...

Batang kalye ako noon dood. ^_^

What a deep piece shinshinovi! Lots of symbolism in there... ;) Great job on the shading (as always)! As far as those random white patches... are those supposed to be snow? If so, they seem a little too angular (especially the one on the corner...). But overall, a nice submission and I wish you well in the contest! :D

Wow, that's amazing. The shading is very well done, and there's a lot of detail.

It's also very poignant, to the point that it's difficult to look at. If I stare at it too long, I get pissed off because I start thinking about how there are scenes like this all over the world; yet no one does anything to help. Any person who could pass by such a sweet-looking girl in ragged clothes sleeping in the freezing cold and do nothing but avert his eyes, deserves to switch places with her... Sorry for the rant...

If you gave my drawing a 9/10, this must be a 15 + an extra 5 for the subject.

its a lovely pic - i love all the symbolism there as well as the awesome detail that u put in ^^

Wow, amazing. Quite touching piece, many conflicted emotions. Great job!

Oww, this is amazing!
I gotta agree with DarthTofu, this is such a touching artwork.
I really love it

Deep... very deep...

And very telling...

This is such a touching artwork... :)

Great job on the shadings & details, its better if you make it darker on the right side. :)

ba't ganun, nag-eerror pag ina-add ko sa fav. =/

It's kind of difficult to draw snow for me because I'm quite a moody person. That's the first time I attempted to draw snow.

I have a similar piece way back then when I was in the orphanage, and even though the level of my skill is not as good as today, I still believe that that piece is the best ever work I did.

Why? Simple. Because I was once one of them.

Well, I still consider myself one, even though some people still ask me if that story is true (me being a former street rat). They say I'm intelligent. Prolly not. Because I was not a 'real-thing', like, a real orphan. But I know what kids like that one on this artwork feels like, what they may experience, etc.

I ain't no saint. But, once in a while, I'd like to pwn people.

Hey ShinShin,I may not have been an orphan, but I can relate to your artwork some. It's very good, you can feel the mood and the theme you were going for emanating from it.Even with the peaceful look on the girl's face, you can tell that she's been through alot but still has some ounce of faith with the cross necklace gripped in her hand.Excellent work.

It's almost hard to look at. Great job on it though. It says a lot.

a deep thought given in this art work plus amazing artwork everything fabulously done. but the snow :D is angular
