When I saw the scan of this I must've squealed over it for a good ten minutes. They all looked too awesome. I wanted it on my desktop, but I wanted something simple, with lots of blank white space. So I made it myself.
I know it's very simple, very empty, but that was the point. And I apologise for the text. I couldn't come up with anything creative so...this is what it looks like XD
This is actually the first time I ever vectored without outlines! It was different. I found it harder actually, but much quicker. Altogether this wallpaper took me 6 hours to make. I almost feel like I shouldn't be submitting something that took only 6 hours XD
The vector is like the original scan, except I put Konata in a rectangle also. Plus there were parts of Konata covering
the other girls that I had to edit out.

And that's pretty much it! Go ahead and tell me what you think of it. I know it could be better but I can't come up with much else. Maybe I'll do a second version someday.

This is lovely. When the scan was pimped across the internet it was obvious that there would be a lot of love & a lot of tributes for it, but I did wonder just how people would adapt it into wallpapers. This is the 'classic beauty' look. It doesn't need tonnes of detail or masses or textures. It is classy, and has the feeling of an Art Deco poster advertising travel around the world. It would fit into the background of North by Northwest so easily!
I feel sorry for everyone else who is going to try to wall this scan now :)

its simple yet for me its colorful! XD i've seen the original scan that was made into vector and made into a wall m..i think i've seen that in AP too :D
but yours is different :D i like the simplistic of the background and for the widescreen too! XD

i like the idea and how you kept everything looking simple :D the background is simple with its design so it doesnt cause clutter plus the addition of the title and the way you did it at the bottom helps add character to the wall :) the vector is neat and clean and with no outlines it suits the simple background nicely :D nice wall ^^

Really amazing! It looks so simplistic and its great! I'm not so into Lucky Star but looking at this vector makes me want to watch it, and also get back to vectoring(although I still don't think I have the time :P). Comment + fave + download + new desktop! Great job and keep it up sensei!
