I would've been here earlier but I was trying to figure out how to apply patterns in layers for Konata's robes but I was staring at the screen for hours and figured out...Absolutely nothing!
So, I apologize for the basics...

And if you use Photoshop...to add patterns, just go to pattern overlay in the blending effects and choose from there. You can download more patterns, or if you have a picture that you would like to make into a pattern, open it it and go to Edit and at the bottom there's "new pattern preset" or something like that and then you can use it.
