And if you use Photoshop...to add patterns, just go to pattern overlay in the blending effects and choose from there.
You can download more patterns, or if you have a picture that you would like to make into a pattern, open it it and go
to Edit and at the bottom there's "new pattern preset" or something like that and then you can use it.

I would've been here earlier but I was trying to figure out how to apply patterns in layers for Konata's robes but I was staring at the screen for hours and figured out...Absolutely nothing!
So, I apologize for the basics...

For some reason I was always pulled towards the pattern maker button...I don't why.
