excellent highlight in 
its been a while since my last wall XD
this is one that i started working near the end of 2006 in december and only just started finishing it this month after how long :D
after months of working on this vector/painted wall i finally finished :)
this was a vector i was working on when i first started vectoring, so a long while ago XD
lots and lots of different shades of blue and brown XD
the hardest part would be doing the piano >.< spent many hours trying to the piano especially with the shading and highlights since each individual part was different and it looked a bit weird at first then i spent quite a while fixing it up till it looks like what it does now :)
on the left is how it looked at first before all the touch ups and many layers of extra colouring and on the right is what it looks like now after all the touch ups :D
the easiest would have to have been the floor and the sky :D
i can't remember where i found the image ^_^'
i decided to not to have the guy in this wall because i thought it looked nice the way it is :D
there are about 160+ layers [lost count] and this vector took about 60+ hours and many weeks worth of vectoring and painting [i lost count after that ^_^'] since i was to trying keep it as close to the original colour as possible XD

Great work. You did a hell of a job.
I wouldn't mind if you wrote some tutorials in order to give some personal advice and share experience with some intermediate creators that want to, but are unable to(and somehow don't use google properly).

The brightness of the girl gives the wallpaper a bit of a ghostly feel, which to me adds a lot to the piece in a good way. It has such a soft look to it, but at the same time is crisp and clear. It looks fantastic.

Whoa! :o This is beautiful, so well done here. I just loved how you vectored it so perfectly like the scan. I must agree with the fact that if you excluded that guy it made the wallpaper more concentrated on the girl playing the piano. ^^ I really really love this and defiantely my favorite I'd say. Keep it up! ;)

Wow, beautiful wallpaper, i just love the scan you used, it's a great scan, and you made a really good work, I love the idea. I like how the colors blend you made a nice mix with the color, also the wallpaper has really good light effects!

i love flowy-dowy wallpapers.. and i'm glad on how this turned out because it's so clean and soft. we can really mistake this for an original artist's CG. you've improved well dear. ^^ love it!

This is worth the full-view because it satisfies and doesn't disappoint.
I can say you are easily one of the newer top wallers, after a long time spending on this, I can imagine your frustration getting to you after a while. I wouldn't have as much patience as you ><I was thinking long ago to do a re-cg or whatever of this scene, it's so wonderful, with the lighting and her expression. I'm glad to see someone with some skills has done it justice! Thanks very much for pulling off this wonderful piece and sharing it!
