MTM WINTRY WONDERLAND 2007-2008

This took a while to make. Not that it was hard to make, because it wasn't, but just because of some things that happened. I was going to make a Candy Cane themed wallpaper no matter what, but the subject was a tougher thing to choose. I went through three different ideas before coming up with this one.

Also, another huge set back in getting this finished was the fact that my father died on the 12th of this months (it's Christmas Eve, folks of the future). For a while, I had no energy to do anything. Because of my mental nature, I coped with his death faster than most, and decided to brighten the Christmas and winter season up a bit more.

So, anyway, on to the wallpaper.

The image I used was another black and white hentai scan that I vectored. I decided to go with simple gradients just for the hell of it, and for something new. After completing the simple-ish background, I decided to pile on a couple different filters to make it look as if powdered sugar had been sifted over the background (which is why the title is "Sweet Season"). Over-all, I realize that it's a simple wallpaper, but that's what the season of winter is: simple in so many ways. The winter time is simply beautiful, simply amazing, and simply heartwarming. It's a time when it's too cold for people to go do stuff out-doors, so families just get together to spend time with each other. Why make an extravagantly ornate and wild, when the season deserves only the best of simplicity?

Filters and effects: Many simple things found on the software that I personally combined.
