my first half vexel, yeah....I got really frustrated when I first understood how a vexel was created since I'm very lazy so I decided to make one with at least the skin been vexelled, I ended up doing the whole thing except the line work/hair and I kinda helped me with a brush in the tattoo because I didnt use black and so it looked too sharped, really dont care, for me was a rather good first thing to have done.
this is for Vectory's Side Project, vexel revolution! (kinda sounds cheesy the last part, haha sorry gaara) ...hum..dunno if it's ok that it's not a complete vexel, I tried anayway.
major and huge thanks to miss Bracket for letting me use her Photo and to gaara cuz I followed his mini mini tutorial on how vexel the skin.

Lol, yeah, I got no awesome idea at naming it, so cheesy is always good I think.
I like how the tattoo looks so painty and yet vexelled, lol. And I have to say you did a very great job on her skin as well as the not-so-detailed hair. I like it. (and it's your first non-wally artwork here, lol)

i mean hair needs some more colours....

ah lady alterlier doing "vexels".. i love her tattoo and the details on her eyes especially.
2 crits: i think giving her hair/eyebrows a gradient would have been a good idea due to contrast created by the plainness of her hair/eyebrows and the detailed vectors everywhere else. secondly- having a matching font of her hair color brings massive attention to the preceding statement. simply changing the fonts color to- say a shade of red from her detailed tattoo would have been ideal.
i always thought of a "vexel" as a series of detailed shaded vectors created upon each other.
btw- i hope you are doing well. great title "kill her off".
