news people!
1. i decided to stop vectoring, yes. i have about 10 vectors done and i wont vector anymore after i post them
2. from now on, ill only submit wallpapers, all of them will be painted.
3. im not taking vector requests anymore [sorry] but i think im taking painty reqests XD though i will vector the images
people requested earlier, i made a promise, and ill stick it out

its a 100% painted wallie, the only vector part is the eye, but its rasterized too
everything's painted by me
actually, the scan was drawn in anime style, and it was very simplistic L I N K
i started it as a practice, and i think it turned out quite ok ;)
dedicated to sailorchiron because:
a. shes one of my best MT friends
b. she loves sailor moon
c. she loves wings XD
oh btw, used a tutorial for wings painting from p-o-r's page

easiest part: eye
hardest part: sounds weird but.... clouds. i spent like 5 hours painting them >.< even hair took me only 2
hours
difficulty: 2/10 [its a firstr 100% painty wall so i started witha simple image]

Yay~ You finished! Great job! My favourite part is still Makoto's hair :) The clouds are awesome too! The wings are nice and the way you brushed them gives them a nice feathery look, but in full-view I think they don't stand out enough. They blend in with the BG a bit too much. But hey, clouds are white, wings are white, what can ya do? Loevly work!~

Wow, you have such neat lineart! xD I love the way you did the hair! It cuts off far too cleanly at the base of the neck, but it's awesome!
Ah... wings... The best way to draw wings is to think of them as modified arms. (It's easier to see on bat wings, but birds wings are really the same thing with feathers) Also, the fluffiness is fine for the top of the wing, but at the edge they are stiff. They also kinda attach to the body weirdly, you can sort of see the body under the wings.
Anyway, I know it's your first painty wall, and it's a great start! =D

While it's neatly done, the wings need more definition. Right now there isn't enough detail in them and it strains my eyes 0_0
The clouds look alright, but maybe a tiny bit blurry, but that's alright, especially if you want to focus on the character.
So nice job and keep at it! -
I must admit I liked how you did the hair so vexel like. XD Its really nice and the painting is well done here especially I think the clouds are way better than mine. Wish the wings had some details unless its because I'm using a crappy laptop which doens't let me see the details. @_@
