She's lovely! I'm so glad that someone has turned this lovely scan into a lovelier wallpaper :)

Yay the mermaid is back, even though she doesn't look like a mermaid in this one. I really like Amano's recurring characters like the mermaid or the fairie, it's great that he does them in different styles as well.
My inspiration for this wall is (as the title suggests) this poster. It's such a pretty photography but I
think the way they've blended in the red looks so unbearable cheap and ruins the whole picture :( (though I can
imagine why they did it that way). So here's my attempt at it using Amano's art, it mainly show's the
colors how I would've arranged them.
I think it's not perfect, especially the blanket is kinda annoying me but I couldn't get it any better than
this. It's ok this way I guess.
Scan was taken from DREAM (enlarged and vectored it), the patterns were taken from Hybrid Genesis. This wall only took me one afternoon (I hope it doesn't look cheap because of that).
Hope you enjoy.

ah yes i do remember the artwork from "perfume- story of a murderer". the movie was a little disappointing but i loved the concept art. wall
Amano-sama's original artwork comes from a book called "Kingyohime" (Princess Goldfish) and fashions the pretty princess with quasi-"cute" fish. the scans i submitted came from a catalogue art-book of Amano's artwork from the 90's.
i adore your works based upon his art-works and this piece is no different. i love your use of texture and the lady looks great (i hope people look carefully at her face) and her blanket looks fine. my only crit- is that her right elbow and arm looks a little strange whereas her left seems perfect to me. perhaps leaving her full right arm exposed (like the left arm is) would have been ideal.

Beautiful wallpaper - I like the vector with shadows, as it gives more depth to the image. The art itself is lovely enough and it's good that you chose not to clutter the wall with a patterned background.
Btw, the book is one of my favourites as it relates directly to the reader's senses. The wallpaper has the same effect on me. :)
