Okay, I found the reference image above, and I wanted to redo it from scratch. The only thing I used in the original image was the silhouette of Sora, in which I vectored and softened around. The bubbles I got from sxc, and again softened them.
The rest I just winged in Photoshop, using a filter here, lightening there, radical blur....
I really wanted to give a dreamlike, very simple wallpaper, with the ripples of the water to be very calming and peaceful.
And this is what came out. Enjoy!

I love the concept ^^ I think the sillouette like person would look better a bit more clearer though. Nice lighting though. Keep it up!

Nice & tranquil. An effective & atmospheric slice of peacefulness.
The concept looks very creative and the colors you choose looks calm and soft. I just guess the left side looks very black.... almost a solid baclk color... maybe you shold worked with more blue and cyan tones ....
Anyway, pretty job and + favs ^.~
I like the lighting effects, very neat. Though I would get rid of the text, or at least make it less white and less bright, 'cause it stands out too much...
the bubbles are so cool, and yeah it's a very simple yet complete wall I just think as maple that you should make that text I little bit lighter, it kinda kills your sight
