Suprise, suprise!
Another Megami work... I just can't resist the nouveau-esque feeling I get from these works... Since I am a A. Mucha fanatic I decided to make a wallpaper showing that devotion... This is it - it took me, like, about two months and I really like it! What is unusual I first made the bg and then the vector. The designs are made by me(that includes drawing them on a piece of paper while browsing through all my Art Nouveau artbooks...). They are inspired mostly by the artwork made by Privat Livemont although the whole project is definitely Mucha, even the colours ^^.

Tell me what you think of this work, hope you like it...
PS. 'Merveille de la technique' means - 'Wonder of Technique' or, in my language 'Cud Techniki'

And nouveau it is! And Kashi-chan, master of making the background first before the vector! I just love this, it looks like a painting you could see in France. <3

The vectoring is very neatly done and I love the small details in the background! Brown and yellow work so well together =D

wow, I love the designs, very elegant and flowy ^__^ and I love the colour scheme, it's so warm :) lol, is she holding tools? O__o .. I think it'd fit better if she were holding flower stems or something to match the frame ^__^

This is a combination of three of my favourite things. Art Nouveau, Ah My Goddess & Chihiro the cutest mechanic on earth! Oh yeah, and my favourite colour too...

It's a beautiful wallpaper, but suffers from too much open negative space. The nouveau decoration is beautiful, and the vector is beautiful, but they seem so far apart. Its as if it is missing something in between, to tie it all together.

Other than that it's a beautiful wall, and a definitely favourite from me.

Amazing vector! Great composition. I simply love the textures of the background. Definitely setting this up as my new wallpaper ;)
    +fav from me!

That's really a beautiful image, and I like the negative space, cause it'll make a good eye-friendly desktop. The design looks cool, and symmetrical which is abit odd with her pose there. :\

    But nonetheless, awesome job!

Well what can i say, just add to the "wow" and "well done" comments. I quite like the look and style of it myself, just that all i need now is a widescreen monitor =|

I think the tools are a nice touch seeing as she is a mechanical goddess of sorts kekeke

Great work on the scan, and i love the antique greek feel you gave the piece (kinda like a mix of renaissance for the greek inspiration, and XIXth century for the tool / progress idea).
Color(s) and bg are nicely worked out :)

    Thumbs up and fav :D

It's a beautiful image and the yellow is so full of life. Lol, it reminds me of old images in Italian castles where painters used to portray something (a feeling, a craft or a guild) personified in one being who bears the tools as symbols of that particular craft. This is the personification/angel of Technique.
