another old wall, but actually, this is the first time i'm uploading it. it was
done for the Battleground (where i screwed up everything i did, but had an
awesome team). afterwards, i ended up not submitting it because the leaves were
done in a way that people would probably find cheap and hate. it was slated for
total bg revamp...until i did my DtB wall and realized how much of a pain
redoing this bg would be (even when compared to my vectoring water
experience...i know, i'm a glutton for pen-tool-inflicted agony). my motivations
to submitting it now are 1) an acquaintance once asked about why i didn't
submit; 2) more recently, real life friends insisted the wall isn't crap; and 3)
i have zero reputation to live up to in MT, not that i have much of a reputation
anywhere. 
(take it in a good way please. >__<)
souichiro and yukino were vectored from this
scan. i regret that souichiro has gray hair and you can't really see the
shading details on their jackets. 
the
shadows are really rough guess work while the ground was painted using blends of
various default brushes. the leaves were brushed - how uncharacterstic of me -
with plenty of color manipulations, the addition of veins (all individually
hand-drawn with the pen tool) etc. despite the extra work on top, i'm braced for
criticism against the branchless-piled-up look...
one thing that i'm adamant about in this wall is that i love the vector. i will not eat you if you disagree, but you can't change my mind on that detail. xD for the handful who don't mind the bad tree, enjoy.

loverly vector 00asa (ur lucky i didnt say pepper) :3 the hair and scarfs especially are awesome, and the girls skirt. I personally dont mind the leaves, they give off a nice glow which, imo, rly suits the wall. great scenic wall!

I've always loved that scan- but never could figure out anyway to wall it. This is a great idea you have here! I love the vector. My only complaint would be the lack of detail in the grass. Other than that, it's really good. Keep it up!
