Eh... I haven't drawn Vaati in a long time, so I was just messing around and before I knew it five hours had passed. :p There's still some stuff I'm not completely happy with, but it's not that horrible that I can't look at it.
To get the oversaturated colors I set the sketch to luminosity and put another layer under that set to overlay to tint the image happy rainbow colors, both over relatively bland normal colored layers. Then in photoshop I messed around with saturation and curves to make it even more vibrant, as well as some last-minute touch-ups.
oC1.1 and 4.5, photoshop cs, 5 hours
