all of my life sailor moon was my religion and no anime/toon/movie could get that high.... but after watching sola
everything changed!
thats just unbelievable, i was crying watching a half of the episodes, and its like strange because i never cried
watching anime/movies/toons
and its very sad that sh*t like naruto is like so popular, and such an amazing anime like sola is not

i started the first one (.:LINK:.) just because i loved the image, and i didnt know anything about the anime itself
but this time, i was just so inspired by sola, that i decided to vector all the scans and screencaps of it

have no imagination/creativity to create my own. oh btw, i painted everything except the sky and water [the clouds are
painted too]

XD nice vector becoz of the sharp outlines + the cleanliness of it! great job also on the coloring ;) the bg is nice and i thought you just blurry the bg but its not! its a painting dood! its a painting! XD just love the sea :D as for the texture it really fits and it looks like an old film or something...anyways good job on the vector + the painted sea ;) +fav! -

I will forever like this shnit if you meant it that way, so yeah, I don't care.
For sure textureless version looks way better (for me) cause I simply think that the texture you've used isn't suitable or in other word, a bit dirty for that lovely girl. The vector is nicely done. Just my opinion, I don't like the text.

Wow, this is beautiful! I just love this. I've never seen the scan before actually despite I've browsed around. Oh wait now I know why. I didn't check the catergory for such a long time. XD
This is really wonderful. In truth it was just a simple background use of effects and texture did the trick here. :o Ack. I told myself not to go on the comptuer. I'm promising to improve my grade, but I'm procrasinating. Somone must stop me going to MT. OX

You love(d) Sailor Moon? Oh, wow...I learn something new about people everyday. I always figured you for the more eccentric-artist-type from your vectors and thought you loved stuff like xxxHolic or something. You actually cried while watching Sola? Wow again... ^_^'
I can see how Aono was supposed to be the "villain" of the show but I don't think she deserves to be hated. If Matsuri hadn't interfered with her life (both times) she wouldn't have turned out that way. If anything, I think the anime is about Matsuri's life coming full-circle by redeeming her one regretful sin. :nerd:
But enough about that, on to the vector-wall. Why the heck did you texture-over the vector? Was it to hide the painted background or was it an artistic choice? Either way, I personally feel it undermines all the work you put into vectoring the scan a little. On the other hand, the texture you chose was interesting. I don't know if you've ever played the "Silent Hill" games but that's what it reminds me of. So much so that I'm tempted to recolor your wall in reds and oranges to parody it but I reconsidered because I don't know if that would offend you or not. :sweat:
Sorry for making you read all that, I'll try to wrap up. You can probably guess that I prefer the textureless version more; I feel it really shows your efforts into vectoring the scan (not to mention painting the bg yourself). Your work is exemplery as always and Matsuri looks kind of shy yet seductive in this wall. It's all good. Thanks for sharing (all versions) of this vector-wall, abul. I d/loaded at least 3 out of 4. I eagerly look forward to your next vector; and if it's more Sola then all the better. Until then, take care. Cheers! ;)
