Dedicated to Omone: Like you said, we really have become friends lately and it's time I gave you something. You made that Sasusaku wall for me (which in my mind, I can't make up for because it was just too perfect for me) and I adore it so I hope you'll like the wall I made for you ^_^. Typical of me to make you a Lucky Star wall, huh? Heh :D Hey, I just thought of something...didn't our long PMs all start when you asked me if I knew a way to vector grass? XD
Well now, let's see...the main part of this wall is, of course, the vector. Vectoring Lucky Star is the best :D So fun. The original scan had a sketchy kind of line style (like a lot of LS scans), but the only place I kept that style was the pom-poms and Miyuki's glasses. I like it that way. It was pretty straightforward. I used a lot of gradients to try and copy the lighting from the scan.
The background, as you can see, is pretty simple. It has five different shades of blue, though you can't really tell. I tried to give it the same depth as the original and I think I came close. The snow was done on 3 different layers, with different amounts of blurs and glows. Still very simple. The star in the middle was probably the hardest, I spent quite a while a while trying to match it to the original. It's close but still not perfect. Either way, I can assure you that this looks nice on a desktop anyways ;)
Maybe it's too early for a Christmas wall but I don't celebrate Christmas anyways ^o^ And I like snowy walls all-year-round so it works for me :) And I adore the holiday season! :D
I know the name is kind of lame...but I couldn't think of anything clever. (Abul, I need to borrow your sister!)
Lastly, a big apology to entity-chan! Two days after I started this wall, I found out that she really wanted to do it too. I was already more then half done and didn't want to stop (plus it was for Omone-chan). She let me do it anyways, so thanks so much for understanding entity-chan :) I'll have to make it up to you sometime, for sure.

damn stop doing such straight shape outlines or im gonna give up vectoring :'(

very nice, but there's something strange about miyuki hair near the top of her hair, its like sticking together by something.
