Looking at this picture from far does it no justice! I was looking at it and thought well it doesn't look that great but I want to see it anyway. I clicked it and realized I was wrong! This picture is breathtaking from close!

WHOA!
Major Kusanagi sort of looks a bit like a, well, erm ... a *bird* with those oversized eyes and rather large beak (I mean nose).
They eyes / nose take away from what otherwise would be a nicely renedered image. Just my opinion and no harm intended to the original artist.
