This artist is incredibly talented, i've never saw such detailed pencil work before, awsome scan(s)
Ok, I promised these awhile back, but I didn't get around to posting them.
Copy pata-ed from my previous Luscious Fran scan: This guy's artwork is simply amazing... its all done in pencil! And what really impressed me, is this is an original, not a photocopy.
How absolutely precise his lines are is sheer genius.
I really love this interpretation of Rikku; the combination of the southwestern looking baubles and jewelry and the fusion of Rikku's regular skirt with the fabric from Yuna's gunner blouse. Not to mention her effortless looking pose. She just feels very real to me.
This artist goes by the name umatyai, and unfortunately he (I'm assuming he's a he as he also does H drawings) has no webpage, and he only shows up erratically on Yahoo! Auctions Japan, which is where I bought this.
