Well, I think you overdid on the brightness focused on the character and also the BG on the right, but overall it's good. ^^
Nice wallie. ^^ I like the colors you used but I think in some parts the background looks grained....

I'm not quite sure what it is, though it may be the white glow around the scan's upper half, but the scan doesn't integrate well with the bg.
