So after more than a year of not reading anything Bleach, I caught up with about a 100 chapters of the manga and I am completely up to date! Didn't take long, because Bleach isn't exactly dialogue heavy XD
I have to admit, this wasn't an image I would normally use, mostly because it was cut off on the arm and would have to lead to a side oriented design. In fact, I really haven't done a wallpaper without a complete image (or an image I could restore) in ages. And... I think it shows ~_~
Anyhow, smoky, nighttime and sands fits the Hueco Mundo look, which hopefully you can tell I was going for. All the background stuff was made based on the screen shots and spreads in the manga, and from there I colored it in a style that I felt would match the scan.
Topped it off with a scan texture by Dioma (http://dioma.deviantart.com) to give it a rougher look, else it would have a glossy finish :D

was in Barnes and noble when i passed by someone whos net book had this wallpaper and remember thinking how cool it was seeing Ulquiorra like that. Now i see where it came from.
Awesome work i like the idea of the BG a lot and how it blends well with Ulquiorra.
