I'm coming up with crappy titles for my vectors again. >< Me and my boyfriend were having trouble deciding on one. We had different names that neither of us liked so I just made a fast name and that's it. XD Plus I'm lazy: this vector took me too long to make! I wanna die right now because I'm sick of vectoring now. XD

Anyway on the specs of this vector I have well used over 500 layers and lots of gradients and two patterns: one on the obi and the other on what looks like pavement (the original scan was like that so all I did was wanted to resemble it). I couldn't possibly resemble the pattern on the obi so I just downloaded a pattern and voila: thank you Ashy-chan for giving me some websites! <3

I actually looked it over for mistakes, color leakages, and brush leakages, but if I missed anything, please let me know. It's my first Carnelian and probably my last one because Carnelian vectors are EBIL. =X Oops, I'm sorry people! But the scans are soooo hard...The kimono took me forever...I wanna cry now...*cringe*

Please comment and full view. I promise it'll look much better shown full size (unless I'm really sucking in my vectoring now...Dx)

WOW! the lines are thin and smooth. This really looks gorgeous!

Seeing you make this makes me proud. :) I mean the challenge in the vectors is the most important part of the whole vector art just to get better. ^^

The colors are soft and nicely done too. I really love the outlines here. :o

What?!?! You have a boyfriend?!?! I didn't know that. ^_^' I still don't have one especially the fact that my Dad won't let me have one until I'm 23. O.o" Though I don't care what he says about it. :nya:

I was looking forward to this so much and you really don't disappoint ;) This is total gorgeousness; it takes an experienced and skilled vectorer to pull of something like this! It looks better than a scan.
The outlines, colours, and soft shading are all perfect and wonderful. I'm especially loving the pink hair + purple eye combo ;)
Like I said, I'm really glad I could help! :D I like the pattern you chose!
Wow this girl has some sharp toenails! :P
Hm...*tries to think of some criticism*....the only thing I can come up with is maybe you blurred the main part of her eyes a bit much? But I like it the way it as anyhow.
Well, to sum it up, your imouto is proud ;)

Your lines are so awesome! It perfectly matches with the scan.
I know how the kimono can be annoying, lol.
My only annoyance with your vectors lately is the blurriness they seem to have, you use too much soft-shading, when a vector shouldn't have those. Instead of blurrying to shade you should try gradients, which will make it look more crisp and sharp, yes it takes much longer probably. But the outcome is so much better.
I'm sorry if this comment sounds like a pain, I don't mean to be. It's a really nice vector.
I congratulate you on your great works always, keep up your work!

    yay!
    u finally posted it!
    really really nice!
    everything is awesome!
thoguh theres only one flaw [ah hate to tell people that their work has flaws >.<] theres no shadow forehead :x

PS just in case youre gonna vector any other carnelian scan, gradients are just a loss of time, all i do is just select the area i want to colorize and do it with the feather brush tool [200-500]
anyway i really love it so its a fave ;)

your lines are sooo pretty. smooth and thin. And the coloring *_* gorgeous too! Though, like many people said, maybe you blurred her eyes a bit too much. But it has a nice effect actually!
I'm speechless! This is amazing. I think it's even better than the scan!

This is such a great vector. :) I think that some textures on the wood would make it look better, but maybe that's just me. Keep it up!

  20. yui20 Nov 23, 2007

Amazing vector =D But I think the eye part is kinda blurry x_x ~
Good job anyway! Keep it up ^^
