Artist Comment

This is kind of a take off on the last scene of the movie Transformers when Optiumus Prime is talking and the camera pans to look over him and the sunset. Well i decided I wanted to kind of do it GSD style and a little differently. I know I have used this pic of Freedom before but it was the only pic that truly held that same kind of feel that Optimus did in the movie. So hope you like it.

What I did:
i vectored the scene in the back and then added the sun set mood and the planet. Then repainted a stock of a hill so then it would look like freedom was actually standing on something and not jus thin air. Re colored some of the Freedom scan and made the gold look more shiny. Well I think thats all. :)

    Very fascinating, this picture really makes me think that Strike Freedom is not just a mere mobile suit, but a 'living' thing, like the Transformers.
