For the inspiration project @ Simple-ism
Inspiration came from the banner I made for Paint-o-Rama for MTM issue #3, when
I asked what to make for the featured group banner,
said "rainbow + paintbrush".
Originally wanted to just have rainbow and paintbrush, but the paintbrush looked kinda weird floating in mid-air, so I drew a hand (from a photo of my hand).
I don't think I intended it to be so... realistic, but I started playing around with Gouche brush and the Blender, and this came to be the result.
Rainbow done in ArtRage, everything else done in Paint IX, with Wacom Graphire 4

ArtRage + Tablet = So much fun. ^_^
Nice painting on the hand, maybe some outlines would help cut back on the realistic feel of it?
Lovely, it's very much like you
I
like it how softly the colours of the rainbow blend into each other. Classic
<3
Lovely Jubbly
A very fine one, you did some good job with the hand ^^
Thanks for sharing!
Haha, cute!
I think the hand ould look better if the shadows where the fingers meet was darker. Not really a line so much, but a thinner, darker shadow. Skin tone is great though. Like on the left edge I think there should be some highlight too. It looks too flat. I'm perfectly aware you didn't mean the realism, btw....
Artrage is fun. Still haven't tried it with a tablet... (openCanvas owns my soul)
hand looks weird but i totally love the paintbrush
The hand needs some outlines, I guess. But I simply love the idea.
Cute! Makes me think of my childhood
nice work and thanks for sharing
