hallo...
me is back walling X3 yeah long time without submiting a thing cause life kept me busy...
Some weeks ago i came back from work and felt like playing around with photoshop
so i looked around on my scan's folder and remmembered this cute scan of monobery...
See SCAN
Scan was found at http://www.digik.net

I first discovered the artist after some time ago when i saw one of POM's wallies..
and i fell in love with the style... (though i choose a more girly image than POM xD)

Smaller versions

1600x1200

1280x1024

The making process
I started with the idea of making a simple abstract bg.. and after messing around things
started looking like clouds lol... so.. i guess i can't scape from doing scenic walls lol..

I painted everything in soft colors, i wanted to give the wall a warm look with pastel
soft colors.. so i made the hills using many different tones...

Then i made that kind of road she is walking on... which started looking as if it had water
inside so i turned it into a sort of little lake road..
Then i painted some trees.. and fight a lot with the text... i usually don't like adding text
but in this case, i thought it could fit nicely..

The hole background was painted with my mouse, i also improved the quality of the scan
which was a bit grainy.. and i added more of those things comming out from her basket

PAINTING SAMPLE

The scene is not based on anything in particular, it's like a kind of fairy scene...
in fact it's pretty senceless lols.. but i'm a crazy girl so.. it matches with me lol.. xD
My idea was to make her look outstanding and shinny.. so i guess i got what i wanted..

Hope u guys like it X3

Time: Around 3 weeks.. or so, i left this unfinished for long time..
Tools used: Photoshop CS3 & my mouse
Music: no idea... in 3 weeks i can hear many things xD

This isn't a wallpaper. Calling it a wallpaper doesn't do it any justice; it is a work of art!

clarings has taken a beautifully painted image and brought it to life with this wonderfully constructed background. It considers the original style of the artist and looks as if it was part of the original scan. Everything from the pallette of colours to the soft textures and the dreamy landscape that perfectly matches the figure. It is only deserving to reward such considerate, gentle and creative skills with a HighLight.
