I'm ba~ack! Wow, it feels like I haven't submitted since forever! *Checks* Heh, well it's only been 2 weeks, but that's long for me. I hope I'll start submitting like crazy again!
But onto the vector. I try to do at least one artwork for every series I watch, and I recently finished Kannazuki No Miko so here's my first vector for it! Why'd I choose this picture? Because Himeko looks so cute! Well, the whole picture is nice and the scan wasn't perfect quality or anything.
I find Chikane's outfit kind of odd in this picture. Besides the fact that her neckline plunges much too low (I adjusted it at first. but it looked weird), she's got that little crown and a black cape...perhaps she just has a unique style? Anyways I don't have much to say about this vector except I hope you like it!
Hardest part: Staying calm after I lost a few hours of work >_<

I think the eyes are looking a little bit strange. I have to get used to that style since most of all are vector those cg blurred eyes.
All in all a wonderful vector like always. Neat outlines, nice coloring ->PEFECT! XD -

I love the outlines, so smooth and the colors are really nice. So pastel especially for Himeko especailly when her dress matches her eyes. ^^ Though Chikane looks weird since this was a CD where the characters are out of characters so they aren't themselves XD. That's why they dressed differently. :)

Can I touch it? Pretty please? LOL! Kidding aside, this vector's elite status is well-deserved. I did however notice two things about it that bugged me a little.One is the tiara on Chikane's head. After vectoring it doesn't look like it belongs there anymore; almost as if you pasted it on as an afterthought, you know? In your place I probably would have edited it out completely since it looks simple enough even for my lowly level. The second is that rose hanging between her (deliciously-plummeting) neckline. Again after vectoring it looks a bit out of place and, well...'artificial' for lack of a better word. I think it probably looked that way in the original scan too but probably less so because of the quality? :nerd:
Bah, enough nitpicking. Let's move on to the good points. Conversely you did an absolutely amazing job with their eyes. Those are seriously beautiful eyes. Their hair and all the frills and tresses of their outfits were well-done too. And as abul pointed out, I love the thin outlines. :D
So despite my nitpicking (I feel so small and petty) you did a marvelous job. I wanna fave it but that tiara really bugs me, I'm sorry. :( But I still love it and I hope you'll keep up the good work. I'll eagerly await your next vector. Until then, take care! ;)
PS Oh, yeah. Thank goodness you didn't change the neckline of Chikane's dress. Bad ASH-chan! Trying to take away our fanservice. LOL! See you around! X-P
