From my dA:
In celebration of two mid-terms down, two more to go. My history class doesn't really count since there's a weekly test. Wait.. Oh, heck, why not? Three mid-terms down, two to go. There, that sounds more impressive. XD

This is the first time I've ever gotten metal to look metallic. I'm so happy! Her top is supposed to be leather, so it's ok if it doesn't look metallic. (We hope leather doesn't look metallic...) Still playing with toounit's style.

As to the character herself, she's an OC of mine.

Note to self and whoever wants to know:
I'm never using my Canson Sketchbook for marker work again. NEVER. The color soaks right through and bleeds everywhere. That poor gem on her headdress was nearly ruined because of it. Also, the paper doesn't dry very quickly, so it got very wet and stayed that way longer than my other paper does... 'Course, it's only 65 lb paper, so that might have something to do with it... I usually use an 80 lb paper for my marker work.

Still, the overall result's not bad. Best looking color pic in that sketchbook, anyway. XD

Media used:
Paper
Pencil
Eraser
Coipc Multiliners
Copic and Prisma markers

P.S.
Minitokyo gets the bigger resolution version. Don't y'all feel special? XD

Wow, great job windyroller! (Teehee, good to know that there's someone else out there who posts up artwork as a result of exams and such. X-P) Nice job on getting the right tones for the metal's shine. As for her top... it does unfortunately look metallic. For leather I tend to think of more of a matte finish with less shine. But I love the shading of her hair and white top. Keep up the great work! :D
