nice! I also wanted to vector this scan, but I think it was too small for me, cause I have it much smaller and in black
and white version...
some outlines look rather weird, like the ones at her hair in the bottom... but overall nice! the title doesnt sit the
vector though...

The scan came from an insert illustration from the 5th SEED novel (which is finally being translated into English!) drawn by RGB. The scan I used was scanned by a friend from devART from the Japanese version.
I laughed when I saw this picture due to Lacus' expression and pose, she looks like she's saying "look at me, I'm pretty" XD (hence the title)
background patterns came from devART and RevAp.
Please forgive the ugly shading in her hair, for cell-shading skills I have none DX

Wow, this is really lovely and the choice from a manga scan was a good idea. :) The brownish outlines was such a nice touch I though. ^^
Though the problem is some areas like the bottom of the hair and her left elbow have such small outlines that I can barely see it. Too gradual with the outlines going big, bold, then suddenly to smaller. I think there should be some shades of Lacus's hair besides the base and highlights I think. :o

Clever choice on the scan, she looks so elegant and gentle. Though I agree with Moonescape on the shading of her hair, but at the same time, I like the how the lines look, not too thin like so many vector these days. >_> Anyway, this can be turned into a beautiful wallpaper.Quote: for cell-shading skills I have none DX

Considering your source image, this is some pretty impressive work. Though the hair still looks a bit off, I think your vectoring skills are improving gradually. Still I feel this was done quite well and Lacus really does look pretty in this. Adding to favs and thanks a lot for coloring and vectoring this scan. Your efforts are much appreciated. Take care! ;)

Whoa! Nice vector indeed ;) The background is very lovely and no other color other than pink can suit Lacus better XD Although the hair lacks details, but i like the eyes, they're very lively :nya: Overall vector is nice and the Lacus model is very well posed ^^
