i've been wanting to do something for a few days now, but just didn't know what. so, i opened Aetherality, browsed the scans, saved a few then picked one.
nana is an anime i haven't seen, but i am a little familiar with ai yazawa's works and i must say, i love her style. i worship people who can draw chars so pretty and put a lot of detail on the clothes, etc T_T. plus, the stories have something that make you read them no matter what you should be doing instead.

anyhow, let me talk about the wall now:
number of layers: 5, with a very large number of paths.
why it turned out like it did: i wanted an intricate bg to contrast the simple way in which she is vectored, so she'll draw the atention (note: she's vectored, the bg is not). i was also thinking about doing a gradient/flat color bg, but i just couldn't choose one to my liking T_T. frankly, i'm not sure if i made the right decision, but i'm sure you'll tell me ^_^'. and dun tell me she would have looked better on a stage or sumth, cuz it would have been to common if i did stage lights and stuff....
she was shaded and had make-up on, but i excluded those. hope no one minds. i think she's just as pretty :D
time spent: lost count of the hours i spent vectoring her. the bg is an older "boredom" of mine (jk, i spent quite some time doing it at the time).
why the title: it just popped into my mind. even so, i think it fits.

not gonna advertise the groups this time. just becuz :D

p.s. LEAVE YOUR OPINIONS ON THE WORK, LEECHERS! X-P

etoo out!

EDIT: here's the wall with the bg changed to a simple color. tell me which you like more, ok?
