Oh, very nice for your first try, indeed. :D Except that the upper right seems a bit too bright, and the texture seems a bit weird. The wings and crows seems slightly out of place, but I love the colors of the BG.

First anime wallpaper from me in Minitokyo.net. I finished it months ago but I hesitated whether to submit it or not. Finally, as u can see, it's here ^_^' I personally like this wallpaper a lot. Well, or should I say that i like the render very much XD It's all thanks to Prinjess(AP) for the render :)
