Dedicating this to my sister, who's been going through a bit of stress lately :) We started reading the Ouran manga a couple years before the anime came out and became such a hit here... we both really enjoyed it.
This was actually a really old WIP that I never got around to finishing it, but I dug it out again because I thought it'd also be a good promo wall for the collab competition @ Invalid Litter Dept. So yay for productivity! This definitely wasn't what I originally had in mind but I like the cheerful results. And the chance to play with text since I haven't done much on that front recently xD
Vectored this scan. I put everyone in black suits because black suits are hot XD

I must admit it's so simple yet wonderful. =) I mean the outlines for them were neatly done and when you shrunk them very small and centered so it can catch attention. :o Last is the color strip was nice especially adding the anime title for each one fo them. =)

You know, this isn't the first time this has happened to me. I'm calmly minding my own business, looking at wallpapers at MT, and then a wall featuring a show I don't even know catches my eye.
Yours did that to me.
Needless to say, I had to catch at least one episode of the show. So thanks for getting me addicted to yet another anime. ^_^'Onto a short critique:
I like the simplistic approach to the wall. The rainbow colors really capture the mood (of what I've seen so far anyway) of the show. Whimsical. That's a good fit so far. I like that there's nothing flashy, but that does make the text within the rainbow colors sort of hard to read. I'm not sure, if anything, can really be done about it, and granted the that's not really the focus of the wall. So...just an observation. The whole thing is cute. And I like that the character's ties match the color they're standing in front of. Nice work on the wallpaper overall! :pacman: -

I don't know why it took me so long to check this out. I mean I remember awhile ago when you first submitted it AP, I was like, "Ooh, nice wallie!" But I had to go and I forgot after that ^_^'
Anyways, this is my fave Ouran wallie, I think. Since I watched the series I had been looking for one that I really liked and that would have to be this one. I love the colours, and how their ties match the colour behind them. The text is genius :D The only thing I can say is that the outlines of their suits seem a bit jagged to me. Maybe it's because I'm looking at the 1600 version, I don't know. But it's a minor detail.
Great work, wish I could do art half as good as yours :) -
