This is the first time I've made a wallie like this. I really like the result but I think is too shiny.
Anyway the sakura tree... cost me a lot of time and my eyes hurts X_X so much time in front of the screen.
About the wallpaper: this is actually my submission for the Carnelian's club contest hehe trying to express peace using my favorite tree/flower: the cherry blossom (sakura).
Please, tell me if you see it to bright >.< because my screen is very VERY bright and sometimes change the colors, so any comments are welcome.
Tools of the trade: Photoshop CS, Carnelian scan, sakura trees, contrast and bright modification and a lot of time in front of the screen = my eyes x)

I think this is a very pretty wallpaper. ^^ I don't think your wallpaper is too bright because my eyes didn't hurt when I downloaded it. The sakura tree is beautiful, even if some parts of it is shiny, I like it. The colors of the wallpaper match nicely and it gives a heavenly/peachful feeling. I also like your font on the title of your wallpaper. You can also see the words nicely without it blending in the wallpaper and making it hard to see. Overall you did an excellent job and please keep up the great work! ^^

It's beautiful wallpaper. You have chosen nice colors so them doesn't make wp look too bright.
But sure some others can think opposite than I do :-)
