I be happy with this now. :D Thanks to nike13 of SA for the suggestions! I really appreciate it.
You all might remember this as the WIP I recently submitted. It appears what was missing/wrong with it was that the scan was too bright. So I darkened it by using a trick I picked up from nike13: I did a copy merge on just the scan layers, then I desaturated the layer, then set the blending mode to darken. I then found in the layering set up where it worked best. :) The only thing I left out was using a Guassin Blur on that layer as well, but I think it turned out fine without it.
This wall took me about a week to work on (that is not including the time that I've put it aside). Aside from working with the scan, which was found on Animepaper, the clouds were the hardest to do. I wanted a bit of shadow to show, but not too much so that it was overwhelming. It took me about an hour to get them to look the way I wanted them too, and I must say that I'm fairly pleased with the outcome.
