For the (Minimalist) Inspiration Project @ Simple-ism

Origin, or the beginning - of everything. It's like a starting point, at which everything that will happen depends on it. Life, growth, maturation, changes; all relate to its origin. Origin creates future, but future can never alter the past. The seed is the origin - which is the crucial part of plants. Light gives a direct influence on which point should the plant reach. At a certain part, light cannot do anything. It's all depend on the origin, or the plant itself, that will create changes on its structure. Light is not the future though, it's just the precursor of future.

Because I love green, not plants specifically. The concept isn't something interesting, got the idea when I tried to create the layout of my personal site, but it didn't turn out good (the site itself). Well, traced the seed from random pic on the webs, pretty small originally. Other parts, like leaves and ground, are done without any reference. Background is combination of random smudgy painting and textures. Text, because that's what I want. If you hate it, then shhh.

hey you finally walled something! pwetty colours, and I like the composition ^^ nice painting and vectoring, though the outer edges of the dirt/ground thing look over-smudged =\

Dan, I must agree with Naomi-chan about this. The typography plus gradient was relaly a nice touch. ^^ Outlines flowing is nice since sometimes outlines too straight might make a picture outlines too bolded. O_o
It's really a nice idea and such a still picture to capture the moment. :3
I love how the just centers so that there's more focus on it. :x Another would be adding the sunlight, but for others it maybe harder for their to see since their comp/laptop could be brighter. x_X
Nah, I think the ground didn't seem over-smudge in my opinion. I imagine as if it's soaked soil. =)
Your best yet since it's been awhile I've seen some latest post in your gallery. :D

minimalism in it's pure essense, I'll just say that you did get a very interesting and worthy concept since it's obvius you thought about it before even start to walling, (i hope), and that I also think that the typography looks very clever even though it's not a "never done thing", considering it's such a simple image looks so complete, and that was the idea, sushi.

Simple, fresh, clean - your concept came through well and I adore the fontage XD I feel like the light rays could be just the tiniest bit more obvious, maybe white-ish rays instead of yellow. Super nit-picky suggest coming from nowhere though, it looks really great as is :D
