I like this but I think you should have made the squares match together in a better design i dunno not just all over maybe make them connect in some way, but I like it anyway so its cool I suppose lol

For the Minimalism project @ Simple-ism. Because less is more ^^
(I'm not spamming, really... just very inspired =P)
I went grocery-shopping, and saw the oranges, lemons, and limes all lined up together, and thought "what pretty colours"! And I love rainbows. And going with my Flower Rainbow idea, this is became the result.
You might recognize some bits of the fruits, 'cause I recycled some vectors from my fruity wallpapers I made long time ago.
originally the fruits were to be in equally-sized windows, but when I did some resizing, it looked cool uneven, so I left it at that...
(I spent all that time vectoring the bunch of grapes and the orange, in the end most of it got cropped off >__> ...)
Vectored in PSP from various random photos found on the Internet...
non-wide version coming soon.. need sleep now...
Edit: Made border thinner, and moved the fruits around so it's not so random. Does it look better? (btw I put it off-center on purpose, I don't like having things in the dead center, and to balance out the text) Old version. I also tried connecting them click but I don't like it as much 'cause it makes it look...restricted...)

its a great idea^^ and i like the vector you used there.
But i think swordfish is right in one way. Maybe you should let the squares connect^^
like in your flower rainbow. for me it is a fav, couse i like the idea behind it^^

Yeah I would agree with above two comments about connecting the squares. I'd also suggest making the borders less thick (or possibly even getting rid of borders altogether :D) but maybe with some straight lines in between the squares extending out... kinda hard to explain xD Anyhow yeah the way it is now, it feels really random.

it looks like photos been exposed in an art gallery, like frames in rotation,and well it's ok like it's now but it would be better if like people already said you would get to connect them in some way so they actually get the chance to shine as beautiful rainbow, that's the idea no?

I think it would look better if the background was black and the fruit pictures were slightly bigger.
As for square placement, I think it'd work better as a row straight across, but with keeping the sizes different. -

it looks alot better but you should add a smaller square on the left side of the text I dunno put oranges or watermellon but I think that would make it look real good like having one out of place will add something to it id make it smaller say by 70%

I think it will look better if the squares are put in one row, so it'll create some sort of colour transition for the fruit. But it looks better now, compared to the first version.

I like it better this way, it looks more like a window onto the produce aisle. ^^ Very cool idea. I like Swordfish's idea of having a little square by the text with a watermelon in it.
