This girl from the first pages of Murata's artbook "Futurhythm" was lookin' at me with too much
sweetness after i choose another one for my previous wall, i really couldn't abandon her... ^_^'
I was thinking what background could be nice for her, but only old and dull ideas came to my mind. Yeah you know, all
those fractal lights or moonshine nights... :nya:
Then i saw an original work on the VladStudio website. Actually i did something quite different from what they did
there, but i got to thank him ('em?) for the basic idea and a couple of neat tricks on it.
While the background itself is not much more than some photos collaged and transformed to meet my needs and shapes, the
real work this time went on the scan. After quite a lot of layers and effects to make it show the right looking texture,
it was the time to take needle and thread and stitch the patch!
Yeah i know it was a bit rude to pierce the poor girl pretty face, but hey, after all that fine shadowing the result is
quite nice. :D
(It's worth the shot to give it a full view, in the preview you really can't see all those tiny
threads).
Oh and i used one brush from Uchiki.de, you can see it on the left, as a way to "close" the margin of the wall in a light way. Credits well deserved, they have some really nice brushes.
42 layers total, made in... hmmm... 5 hours i suppose, something like that.

(You know, there are still A LOT of darn pretty girls that are looking at me with their malicious eyes from Murata's artbooks. I have the alarming feeling that sooner or later they will force me to wall them too OX )
