Started early in the morning and finished now in the noon.
Whole bg vectored, normal scan extracted.
Thinking of a bg was kinda hard...for this type of scan
cause it's a girl coming out of a flower, abstract wouldn't have
looked good and a normal scenic bg would have looked too weird.
But anyway, I thought water and a castle looking thing
would have been a good idea. Don't ask me what the bg is suppose
to be I just thought maybe a haven for her. Added designs on her face
and changed the colors of her eyes.

i will just say one thing^^ good luck on the contest.
it looks really intresting. i only think something more crystalized would have matched her a bit better, couse of her
wings, and the coloring of the charakter. Uhmmm.. maybe i will sound harsh but the text, and espexially the brush behind
it dosn't mach a single bit to the rest of the picture.

I will have to agree with Clover, something with a more crystals and a little more texturing within them would have helped.
Nice abstractness with the background. If for that and nothing else, I say I will fav it.
i like the scan very much! the extraction is great + its sharpness :D
though there are some things that kinda off in the wallie like the colors of her eyes, i prefer to be the original eye
coloring + those black...lines in her eyes...its so scary..., next is those threads or ribbons well they seem don't
match with the color theme of the scan well i would be nice of you make it same colors with the scan, another is the
whole bg, i would really fit if the whole bg is more like icicle/icey bg or you can make it an angelic bg :D you can
also add some sparkles or other starry stuffs. Oh yeah! for the petals well you can change it to some snowy stuffs XD
textures also nice! m.....anything else? well i guess that's all :D
m... dont be offended on what i'm saying just telling some stuffs that you can add more work on it. Overall nice scan XD XD

I realyl love the extraction here. =D It's a nice idea of red and blue eye. :o
Though the background was quite plain or something missing, but better than notihng since I have no idea. ;)

It's beautiful, the black tears kinda don't belong ^_^' But it's still very good!
It's nice. I love the background; the classic colors and soft, cloudy texture are beautiful. The color choices made were excelent, especially with the ribbons, and the reflection effect in the "water" is pretty neat. The scan looks very nice...by itself. It's bright and pretty and clean and...sharp. Very sharp. I mean that in an "oh no! I've cut myself on its edge!" sort of way. See...the background is beautiful, it really is, and the scan looks great...but they don't meld well. It has absolutely nothing to do with the "design" of the background, rather it's the stark contrast in color intensity. The background is soft, subdued, and classy, but the scan is bright and almost..."metalic." It's an odd combination that is frankly a bit jarring (where such a reaction is probably not intended). It's a nice wallpaper, but the contrast between background and foreground is a bit too much for me.
