Ah yes, just saw this at AP. I don't know the anime but your vectoring is wonderful as always, I love the little drink and the splashing water. A nice summer wall, keep up the good work!

A wallpaper, yay! And look, look--a summer vector wallie! But I'm afraid it's widescreen, since the scan was a two-side magazine scan. Originally it was just gonna be a vector, but I wanted this for my new monitor which is...lol, hell, I forgot the dimensions but it's 20 inch so yeah, it's big. >.>; If anyone wants normal dimensions, I can crop it for you, but I don't think the quality will be appreciated as big as the wide.
Now let's see, the easiest part was the two girls in the background, since I used a one-point brush and not used any fill. The sky was a snap, but man, shading the sand was so damn hard....Dx It was like going back to my Out of the Extraordinary vector---brushing the shading and blurring it to make sand shades and speckles. But I enjoyed coloring Popo's tube, that had a small gradient, and some of the designs on the beach ball and letters on the tube were all stroked since I didn't want the backdrop ladies to be popping out with thick outlines.
So there you have it. It's a tad late for a summer wallie, but there's still a month left of pools, parties, and freedom. Except for school and college that is...

Great attention to detail and the vectoring is fabulously done.
Though, I find that the sky is too dark. Maybe make it a bit bright? 'Cause it kinda looks like it's about to rain >_<
Also, the signature is in a rather random place, but other than that, great job! -

The sea is also a little too dark.

I think I fell in love with the backgroung mainly here. O_O I mean I really love the ripples and how the splash turned out. :3 Plus the transparency for the green inflatable stuff really turned out great. I'm envying once more. >:D
