Very gothic indeed. I love that border you place on each corner. Maybe you can add in some text on the left side of the girl. Or some of her red ribbons attached. Cool!

This is my second wallpaper. The char is from a collection of pics that I have and I do not know what anime she is from. I tried to stick with a gothic theme and this is what I came up with. :)

lovely scan indeed, and good element on the border, try working on the contrast and levels to get the red of the ribbons to pop out, and the filter fest for background might be a lil too generic, but that just my taste.... anyway good work

I don't think that particular bg works well with that scan. The scan is all soft/smooth lines, while the bg is full of harsh/grainy lines. The contrast between the two is a bit much.
