>_< That's a hard screenshot to work with!
But you pulled it off nicely. Like you said, the storybook-ish look suit this kind of wall and the painting is well
done! Great job!

Started watching Aria; it's such a sweet series ^___^
Saw this screencap from the 1st ending of Aria the Natural, and thought, hey, that'll make a nice dual-screen wallpaper.
I was gonna vector it, but thought it'd be more fun to paint it. So took it to Open Canvas and painted it with tablet.
The hardest part was President Aria (the white cat thingy), 'cause I couldn't see much from that screencap, so had to use other references. I like the uneven look, 'cause it gives it that childish storybook look.
Shooting stars because I just finished watching ep 3 of Aria the Natural.

I agree with Chloe-chan :D thats indeed a hard screenshot to work with :)
but you have done it & it looks very good :)

The screencap is really tiny, it's admirable that you made a wallpaper from such a source! And Aria is indeed a very sweet and relaxing series - perfect for a compfy evening after a stressful day :)
I would love to see more Aria stuff from you, but of course that's up to you :) -
Wow, it's so adorable! Maybe it's just me but I find the reflection on the water looks a little awkward, like it's on top of the water than a part of it... I still love it though.

This is very charming. ^_^
Just sad that I don't have a widescreen monitor, because the widescreen version is the best. T_T -
hum...gonna be honest, I kind of dont like what you did with the painting, it looks sloppy, and Im not saying efortless but certainly not the greatest painting from you, like if you were tired and tried to finish it quickly, the water...or the reflections on the water are randomly done, you dont get to see the actual blending, the same with the wharf reflections, you say you like the uneven it looks cause it resembles a nice childish story book thing but that's something you must get at first sight, I mean if I wouldnt have read the description before seen it completely I wouldnt know what you were trying to show, I would have just said it was a not so good painting, at least not as good as what I've seen from you.

I don't see much Aria arts~ And this is awesome! It makes my mood better XD

I like the story-book style! The house on the right is looking at me...

Damn it! Have to write all over what I just said.
Love the simplicity and the fact you extended by seperating those city apart farther. :o Your paintings are really nice and give such a nice touch unlike what the screencap would ever capture. >:D The method of painting the water is interesting since it's different from your water tutorial. :3
Well done Maple-chan! =D

Really nice wall here, great painting work. I love the way the water turned out, especially the part under the pier where the paint strokes are more visible... the reflections are well done too.
ARIA sancho looks a bit sad... well whatever !Thumbs up and fav :D *punya*

Thanks for sharing -
Very simple and very peaceful, wish I had a wide screen so
I could see it all, but it works. Good job! -
