's Celebration contest, because we have 600+
members! And it's summery and fun.
Vectored in PSP8, had lots of fun with patterns. The patterns on the kimonos and fans are from some origami paper that I bought and scanned.
Then painted the fireworks in PS Elements 3.0 with tablet. I er, think I kinda went overboard with the fireworks though >__>
Not much else to say though, but I think this is the first time I walled these 4 teens together.
Time: about 10 hours
Layers: around 20 or so
scans came from Anime Project Alliance
Also entered in PoR's Anime Alphabet.

Too many fireworks! And the group don't blend with the background.

Wow! I really lke how this turned out. I mean the background was very creative since I haven't seen anyone maybe painted fireworks.
The outlines were really nice, but I think it's quite odd how the colours are brighter instead of dark contrast to lgiht. :/
The only areas I thought the outlines were odd maybe is Lacus and Cagalli's face. Though the patterns were nice.

I didn't see the first version but the fireworks look just right in this one. I got all excited cause I recognized this as yours in the thumbnail gallery... I can't break out of w?w mode.

This one turned out quite well. The vector job is excellent and I love how you did the patterns on the kimonos. Ah, you changed Cagalli-sama's kimono color, nice! Good idea. The fire works are kinda erm... I don't know. I'm just bothered to see them. Hehe...

But it's a very fun wallpaper. I would like it if the sky was more darker, because I've never seen the previous version, it still doesn't quite fit into the background. But everything in this wall is so fun. Summer is ending.
