2nd of the Which?Waller - Commercial Sellout submissions.
With this one I knew I wanted to play around with funkier colours and designs, since I've never really tried that kind of thing before. I had planned to use a lot more colours, but I couldn't quite subdue the monochrome-lover within me and it was soon an all yellow and black wall, with just hints of pastel pink and green. I compromised and added the blue kimono pattern, which is the version I submitted to w?w.
Yuuko's outlines were the perfect chance to give my new tablet a tryout, and I'm really happy with the results. I love the rough lines, and it made changing her fingers into a Yellow Pages 'Let your fingers do the walking' pose so simple. The original scan was submitted by Marissa and can be found HERE

This one made me laugh too, 'cause how her fingers matched the Yellowpages logo thing and how it looks like her fingers are crossing the street (you should work for an ad company, I love your ideas
).
Yay for bright colours! I like the blue version actually, 'cause you can tell her apart from the background, though I don't like the smudges on the pattern...
I wondered if this was a vector for a minute, but it didn't look like it.. I didn't get this one right either TT.TT
It's really one funky wallpaper for sure
I like the background, sort of pop-art looking, and very dynamic too.
But I added this to my favs for all those tiny and amazing details on her

I would never ever thought of using this scan to do a yellow pages wallpaper! Just brilliant!
But I would like this better if yuuko was vectored, I don't know why, maybe it's just my inner vector-lover self...
Anyway, the idea is pure win!
Wah! This was such an awesome idea! When I saw her fingers doing the little.. "pose" I was like "omg it's just like a commerical". Nice work on the patterns and everything, although all the yellow is a bit blinding. @_@ Definately deserves the elite though!
