A very unique style of shading on this one yoshimitsu! I also like the combination of blue and red as opposed to black and white. An interesting concept-- Light's head/hand with Ryuk's body... I must say that Light makes quite a handsome shinigami... The only thing I can see that needs improvement would be that from Light's body position, we should be able to see his other arm. Also, the way his arm kinds of fades away as it approaches his body looks a little odd. Almost like you forgot the outlining for that part or something. But it is still a high quality piece of art! Keep up the great work!

In which Shakespeare's piece is it that the guy holds his father's skull ? King Lear i think... well i haven't seen death note, though obviously i've heard of it, but it reminds me more of Shakespeare at the moment .
Anyway, really neat lineart, your proportions are awesome (the hand nicely drawn), and the combination of colors works well. I love the mood given by his peaceful face vs the somewhat scary skull.
