entry for w?w round 3, commercial sellout.
I was inspired by this Old Navy commercial that was on TV a while ago. It reminded me of this Kunie scan, thus this was born.
Fun with patterns. Patterns came from motzgraphics, squidfingers, and revolution apparel.
background is kinda random, was going for arrows, and somehow ended up with stars.
I was hoping nobody would guess this one, but somebody did.. they're evil >____<

A simple wall, yet full of movement and colour. This was one of my favs in w?w round 3.
Still, I'm glad gaara caught you out, 'cos if you'd gotten least recognizable as well...
never thought this was yours, first thing that I saw were the patterns, I like how you put them in different series but still making them look as if they were fitting exactly where you placed them, it reminds me of things I've done but more randomly, that at the end look this good, but to be really really really honest I'm just getting sick or kind of overwhelmed by kanbara, or at least the style that I've seen using her works, I like yours but it's pretty much the same of another wall I saw recently with that scan but with different colors, dont know what to think about that..

The outlines are very smooth here.
The patterns really give a nice touch unlike the thumbnail barely showing those texture patterns.
I think this really went well here, but the more I see these, I can see why some can guess it's your doing. >:D

wow, love the use of patterns! Ive been hooked on using patterns lately but your wall goes over my limit! I could never put that many patterns in one wall and still make it look good. haha.
I just kind of wish the characters were just a teeny bit more towards the center since its widescreen and it makes them look a little forlorn...but it might just be me...Ive been having some moments lately. lol
