Been awhile since I've made a wallie and after seeing
Ryo make so much GSD vectors I decide to take my fave looking
ones and do something.
I wanted to make the wallie all about Meer but I thought
that'd be too plain so I added Ryo's fave character and then
worked from there.
Red cause I think it's a strong color for them both,
even thought Meer usually surrounds herself in pink but
ah well. the bottom color is just what matches with the red.
The butterflies are a symbol of their elegance and beauty.
Thanks to Naomi-chan for help

Lovely wall as I said on msn :3
I love the colors and the textures. The whole idea is very nice.
Simple and elegant <3
The background is a bit empty, but I like the delicate brushes =)
not the character i prefer but they are somehow cute.
I luv Butterflies the colors are nice. The glowing Butterflies <3
its an elegant wall^^ keep it up
Love the simplicity, but I must admit that it is quite empty with the background. :/ Though I think it can't be helped.
The extraction for them both was well done and the textures plus colours turned out great. =D I think those butterflies come from the default brush in photoshop which it should already have in yours.
i'm loving those butterflies <3
i agree that the bg is a bit empty but I love simplicity so it's not bothering me.
I also like the textures and the colors are cool!
adding to favs
Well well
but I believe that you did not have to occupy green and red, they
are not seen well, my suggestion is to have used pink and white, I believe, in
order that one sees a little more natural
yay! Shiho is there! yay!
hahah, I like these type of walls, but this artist has a tendency to draw the characters too thin on the waist sometimes, nonetheless, this is a good wall, kinda plain and the back but the workload and effort is well presented.
for me?! aww thank you *hugs*
I like the colours (you did really well to make the gradient from red to green ^^ ) and the butterfly and textures ^^
yay Shiho! though Meer looks a bit weird flipped (her hairclip on the opposite side)
Good backround! I like that concept you used about the butterflies. And those butterfly brushes look very pretty.
Awesome and simple :3
Love the color choice and such :3
As the others said, the bg is a bit empty, but I can't say anything 'bout that~
- to the
right) and made the vectors go together, like one scan? It'd look like if meer
was humping on the other girl~ lol~
Lovely use of brushes/textures, the vectors fit well on the rest~ >w<
But I was wondering... what if you switched their positions (meer to the left, other girl -what's her name?
Good work! ^.^
oh yeah! keep on going for shiho!
YAY! Shiho! Love her ^^
Simple wall.
I'm not a very fan of meer but your walla ia very great kitten-chan ^^
I like the bg and the characters scan
si\o great work (like always....;) )

Very nice. The vectors look absolutely terrific; clean and neat, yet with a wonderful textured effect that makes them seem that much more natural. I love 'em.
The background...this'll take a few sentences. The first thing I have to say is that I don't like the butterflies. They're bright and clean and do a nice job of adding features to the background. That said, it's a grossly-overused effect. The butterflies themselves are perhaps a bit too bright, considering the rest of the wallpaper. The vast majority of the wallpaper is very dark and dim...even the whites and pinks are dull and subdued...and yet all of the sudden there are tiny spots of brilliant white. In some cases this effect can work really well, but here I feel it just detracts from the natural, subdued appearance of the wallpaper. The butterfly "trails" just clutter up the background and cheapen the emotion of the wallpaper in my opinion...but then I'm a guy, so what do I know about such things, anyway? The rest of the backgrond, however, is very nice. Apparently unlike most of the others who've commented, I don't think the background is empty at all...on the contrary, I think it has a lot of subtle feature that's actually very beautiful. I personally love the colors you choose. The deep green melds into the blood red beautifully via a nice swath of browns and greys and helps bring out the color contrasts between the two scans very well. The choice, position, and blending of the colors also serves wonderfully to give a sort of abstract "landscape" appearance, with faux grass, mountains, and sunset being implicitly portrayed without ever being explicitly shown...I love the effect. Absolutely love it. The texture chosen, as I mentioned earlier, is also very nice, as it both softens and darkens the colors chosen and gives the whole wallpaper a more "natural" feel.
All in all, I love it. Yeah, I could certainly do without the butterflies, but they don't ruin the wallpaper...they just don't do anything to enhance it. So, like I said, very nice. Glad I got to see this...thanks for uploading your hard work for us all to enjoy.
Well-chosen scans. I really like the atmosphere the background makes with them. In short, it works. Nice work.
nice wallpaper
Thats Shiho with Meer?
