- I kept falling asleep while I was working on it.
- The hair part was done out of my tears. T_T
I won't talk much this time again so you don't have to hear me brag about it. :)
This was of course originally for the submission for the recent contest held in p & , but I wanted to finish my
sister's gift so I had to combine them all three together. Second I was going to leave to my vacation very soon so there
was so much pressure, and third tomorrow was my sis B-day on the 7/13 so I stayed up all night in te last minute.

I couldn't think of a wallpaper for it so I gave up. I do have one, but this ones ugly. D: So I submit it as a vector and plus since exactly one year of vectoring. I just missed it by a day or two for the actual one which is 8/1. OX This started all for my vector career.
From here on out you'll my outlines will now be done by Illustrator so the outliens are straighter, but now overlaps will be my problemd. OX So this is the start of changes as you know. Maybe sometimes I'll use photshop to outline if I'm desperate when I don't have an Illustrator by my side. XP
[Edit] - After reading this thread it made me think more about this vector and how the title I can relate to it. Maybe this is where semanga is right now living above us somewhere up in the heavens with a birdie companion. :)
[Edit 2] - lol! I'm quite surprised how ppl give compliments to me that my vectors look like scans. Maybe this means I'm getting better or I'm too unoriginal. OX

Wonderfull job! I just found out about semanga. It is soo unfair things had to happen like this. But I am shure she would have feled honored to know your thaugts. I imagine her as well, somewere up there, leafing at us for all the tears we shead. Ikinda imagine her to pop up out of no were and tell us it was all a joke and we fell for it, big time.
But so nowone can say I didn't make a good comment, I say the vector is extraodenary. How can you manage to make all those shedes seme so perfect. And the way you make the eyes is simply captivating. If I didn't kneww from the start that you were working on this one then I would have said someone placed a scan in the vector section.
You surtenly never miss to surprise me. Keep um comming!

Moon-chan...I can't even DESCRIBE this vector. I can't! It is beyond amazing; beyond! It's so beautiful! How did you do that? This has got to be some of the best art I have ever seen in my vectoring career.
It does look like a scan, but that's because you did such an amazing job recreating the image. It has nothing to do with a lack of originality.
Congrats on being a vectorer for one year! You certainly have improved. Your vectoring is almost flawless now!
I also just heard about Semanga. It's great of you to think of her, it's quite a shock to learn something so tragic like that.

Whoa, This is a vector? No way! It looks just like the original carnelian scan. Unbelievable! O_O, I don't know how you did this so perfectly but it must have been definitely hard. This is a really good vector and I really really love it! Man, you got some mad vectoring talent alright! Excellent job!

What an absolutely delightful vector! Not only is the line work flawless, but the colouring is exceptional! And the 'air-brush over a stencil' look for her kimono pattern is as sweet & charming as the girl herself. This could easilly be mistaken for a professional work of art!
