Thanks goes out to ~jinx626 over at AP for bringing the awesome vector of Haruhi (by Tomei) to my attention. I got the inspiration for the BG by watching the 2 Remote Island Syndrome episodes again (even though they're my least favorite in the series, lol).
For the most part, it turned out how I wanted it after a few minor revisions. I tried to have it match the vector with the time of night and some action going on with the waves, but my lack of skills are holding me back :P. Hopefully someone out there likes this ^^...

Excellent wall, the intense background effects don't overwhelm the foreground at all. The colors compliment each other as well. Nice job.

Well, I suppose you didn't like that episode because it was different than the others. I for one hated the very first aired episode. The wall is great but why is there blackness around Haruhi's behind, a rock probably. Thanks!

I totally agree with Getay... I thought Mikuru actually had the Mikuru Beam ablilty, but it turns out its put on very cheaply... that's the only time I laughed in tht ep...
But anywayz, water effects are done well, really puts the mood and setting... all suppose to be scary... nice~
