I found this beautiful stock photo some time ago on google while searching for something else. When I found the scan, I
instantly thought if this photo. I believe they fit together well.
Well, I went for a surreal wall here. I wanted to portray hell as a beautiful yet lonely place and I think this is the
perfect scene. I found it way too plain though and tried different perspectives until I thought of what you see
here.
The photo went through a lot of manipulation [mainly smudging] to achieve a painting-ish look. The work on the scan was not that much, I just used some filters and a few other tools blend it somewhat to the background.

ooh, i like the background alot. it's like when i first look at it, i didn't notice the upside-down trees. i thought it was a dark sky and enma was standing on the roots of a tree. then i took another look, and its like whoa. XD good job!

Hoe! It's really very nice! A dark, descriptive surrounding. The blending of the colors in the skies are quite mismatched though -from my point of view, lol- but the leaves are very well done. Nice job! :)
