Im very proud of what i did with this one, scan goes to Kdshortman from MT and yeah one of my favorite characters from
Read or Die a.k.a. Nancy (Ms.Deep) and Yomiko (Agent Paper) and loved how they have that Shounen-jo love for each other.
In the original scan i RE-CGED parts of Yomikos hair, Nancy's feet which i loved to do ^ ^ and her knee for 3 hours last
night! Used a stock photo and made it somewhat of a watercolor painting effect, same goes with the rest of the whole bg
i tried to incorporate from the original image bg if you dont bother reading this! Lots of smudging, gaussian blurs,
overlaying and added spirit butterflies to fix the plain green over there but the rest of it is great!
So of all i did in the whole ROD series and movie all is needed is Wendy, Nene, The blonde girl (RODTv) and maybe Joker and the other crew!
So 3 hrs. for scan, 6 hours for the bg and 68 layers in total..0_0

VERY nice work incorporating the (very sexy) scan into the background. I've seen this scan a few times before in other wallpapers, but never with a treatment of this level. The pixel-effect applied to the background gives the piece a bit of a surreal feeling, and helps to draw attention to the high-resolution portrait. I like it a lot. :)

I love it! Excellent job OracleAngel. :) I really like the original BG and the scan you use is also lovely. Every thing fis well with each other. Man, you have to love the summer time. :D

The grass and the tree looks really good, but maybe tou should try making the mountains a bit sharper. Good job nontheless :)

The characters, the lower grass and the tree look great, but I don't like the texture you've put on the hills and longer grass.
The amount of fog seems also a bit too much to me. -
